Mr. Klevgaard, a nationally recognized expert in substance misuse prevention and intervention, is a highly experienced training and technical assistance (TTA) designer and leader. Klevgaard brings extensive experience in public health and behavioral health (BH); effective collective impact approaches; and evidence-based alcohol, opioid, and substance misuse programs and policies. A member of EDC’s Health Promotion, Practice, and Innovation portfolio leadership team, Klevgaard advises on substance misuse prevention initiatives throughout the portfolio, as well as leading TTA services and programs that strengthen the capacity of state prevention practitioners and tribal prevention leaders. He serves as a subject-matter expert for the Massachusetts Center of Excellence on Problem Gambling Prevention.
