Massachusetts Council on Gaming and Health
Odessa is a veteran public health practitioner, addressing a wide range of intersectional community concerns for over nearly three decades. As Chief Programs Officer at the Massachusetts Council on Gaming and Health, she helps translate research into evidence-based programming across the continuum of care. Odessa leads the Council’s clinical capacity building efforts with clinicians and other social service providers, oversees RG outreach efforts to communities at elevated risk for gambling disorder. These efforts strengthen existing safety nets while ensuring professionals have the research and resources to best care for individuals and their loved ones that are struggling. Odessa holds a B.A. from Brandeis University and an M.A. in intercultural relations from Lesley University. She is a Certified Trauma and Resilience Practitioner.
